Please join us as Erin Felix and Luis Arandia from the law firm of Polsinelli PC provide an overview of international aspects of federal government contracting and discuss how recent U.S. trade policy changes have affected contractor supply chain management. Topics to be covered include:
A general overview of export controls, sanctions, and associated recent developments;
Trade agreements, including the USMCA and tariffs; and
Effects of these developments on government contractor supply chains, including domestic sourcing preferences (Buy American Act/Trade Agreements Act), Berry Amendment, and FAR/agency prohibitions on contracting for certain products and services.
Who Should Attend: Contracts and subcontracts administrators as well as attorneys employed by companies that do business with other companies under government contracts.
This workshop is equal to 2.5 hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits towards an NCMA certification.
