Membership with NCMA will certainly enhance your knowledge of the contracts profession and help you in your career development. It will also give you the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals in a relaxed atmosphere at monthly meetings. In addition to the materials and services that you get from the National Office, here are a few of the extra benefits that our chapter offers you:
A quarterly newsletter with meeting information, notices of upcoming events in NCMA and the contracting community, news of your fellow members, and more.
Monthly meetings featuring professionals speaking about topical acquisition issues.
Regular workshops to enhance your daily job performance.
Our meetings are open to members and non-members alike. Feel free to "come check us out" at our next meeting.
For questions about membership or to be added to NCMA San Diego's mailing list please email Membership@ncmasd.org.
We hope to see you at our next meeting!
Tell Us What You've Done!
The national office would like our chapter to let them know of the efforts our members undertake to promote the profession and NCMA. The only way we can do this is with your help. If you either do one of the following or become aware that another San Diego Chapter member has done any of the following during the current program year, please e-mail us at email@example.com and let us know:
Present or co-present at one of the Education Tracks at NCMA World Congress or another NCMA national level event during the Program Year?
Participate as an instructor, facilitator, etc., in any program relating to contract management, which was not part of a chapter-sponsored activity, and not a part of their regular employment? This includes presentations to other NCMA Chapters.
Author or co-author an article of substance and submit to Contract Management magazine or the NCMA Journal or any other similar noteworthy publication?
Author or co-author an article of substance that was published in any other non-NCMA magazine, or published in newsletters or other agency/company publications with limited circulation?
Did any Chapter member attend World Congress?
Did any Chapter member work with a local university/college to develop contract management courses or programs or to encourage students to become members of NCMA?
Did any Chapter member participate as a mentor for an NCMA Leadership Development Program (CMLDP) student?
Did any Chapter member attend any other NCMA National Conference (or any virtual conference)?
