This workshop will help answer the following questions:
Government buyers and government contractors frequently encounter compliance challenges in regards to managing the international trade of goods and services. The purpose of this seminar is to provide insight in to the Government’s expectations regarding international trade.
Topics will include:
Overview of the evolving regulatory requirements in the context of Export Control Reform
Discussion of the enforcement trends under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), including the recent ZTE decision
Review of the current sanctions/embargoes programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) under the Trump Administration
Trends and developments in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance and enforcement
Who Should Attend: Government buyers and personnel from government contractors who play a role in managing the international trade of goods and services.
This workshop is equal to 1.0 hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits towards an NCMA certification.
